In many job descriptions, they list having an entrepreneurial spirit as a criterion. Since leaving the corporate world (my career of 13 years), I realised there is a huge difference between an entrepreneurial spirit and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Having an entrepreneurial spirit means being a self-starter, proactive and showing leadership skills, which are necessary in corporate too.
But with an entrepreneurial mindset, it is a struggle to stay within the framework and adhere to hierarchy as your vision is grander or plainly different.

Your mind sees possibilities for improvement everywhere: from the filing system to management meetings.
Your brain is always concocting solutions; it spots efficiency in the most random of places. You come up with solutions for everything, even when it does not relate to the task at hand.
