14 Signs You Are Not Made For The Corporate World
Are you more of an entrepreneur? Or an intrapreneur? Are you constantly wondering what an office does? Are you not meant for corporate culture? Let’s find out.
1. The concept of a 9-to-5 confuses you
For the life of you, you do not understand how someone activates his work mode at 9 am on the dot. Then as if there is an invisible clock, switches off at 5 (or at 7 if the big boss is around).
You are baffled at how everyone is expected to work 8 hours a day when we are all human beings with different brain capacities.
You would really like to meet the person or consortium who decided to impose a 40-hour work week and glare at them.
2. You don’t deal well with authority
Being told what you do makes you uncomfortable. The idea of micromanagement makes you cringe.
The thought of having someone hovering over you or watching your every move makes you want to push your fist into a wall.
You hate pointless but professionally written review points that you need to clear. Especially when most of them are futile and could have been discussed live.
