7 lessons from 2021, the future is already here
Lessons are great teachers, let’s pay attention as this will decide our future
2020–2021 and now onto 2022, the gifts that keep on giving. We are living in weird times but dark times have happened before, many times in history. They fade into the annals of history. What is important are the lessons they leave in their wake.
1. We are all super connected
We have become more connected online. So I am sort of hoping this will trigger more intercultural connections and learning about each other online rather than just vitriol and trolling behind the screens.
The world is super connected but at the same time we are getting lonelier. Sometimes, we forget we are in this together.
A restriction in Australia and its repercussions; not being to see family and friends,has the same effect as a restriction in Canada. We also cannot see family and friends. We are connected to a level like we have never been before.
Because we all have a common enemy causing us the same kind of pain and worry, we have more to relate to each other.
