Each moment we are living we are also dying. It is a terrifying thought yet so true.

As someone who has too many interests and was not willing to put myself out there unless I had THE perfect solution, I thought I had all the time in the world.

But it is a very contradictory thing thinking about the exhaustibility of life: it is long (try doing a plank) and also very short (to live all our interests).

But some of us struggle to take action because we are stuck in analysis paralysis.

We believe it will all come together at some point and there is this light bulb moment that will just sort of happen in an epic cinematographic moment.

But to really live each moment we are dying instead of merely existing, we need to create meaning and not wait for it.

How do we live instead of exist?

By thinking about own mortality.

Using philosophy

I talk about my encounter with a philosophy student here, where she explained to me the life works of Martin Heiddegger, the German philosopher.
