How I got job offers on Linked-in within days and how you can too
You do not need a formal application, just some good strategies
If you are a freelancer, you are used to pitching and marketing your services on platforms. If you are a job seeker, you are more familiar with CVs and dealing with human resources.
Linked-in is the world’s most powerful Human Resource. It is actually a useful piece of social media and in my opinion, massively underrated.
I found my first job in Canada entirely through the platform. I started sending applications and tailor-made cover letters to a few Company websites who got back to me at such a slow pace I wanted to change strategy.
My limiting belief
I have always used a process that worked well for me. Find vacancies, start an application and apply through the system.
If the system likes you, they send you to talk to a real human. Then you impressed the human with your competencies.
If the human identifies potential according to their needs, you are greenlit to talk to someone with a fancier job title. Then you dazzle some more and get the job.
There lied my limiting belief. Because the process worked for me, it became familiar and kind of my comfort…
