How to get yourself out of this funk we are in currently

Anybody feels like they are in a rut right now? Or maybe a super funk? Funk 2.0?

If we described the early stages of the pandemic like scenes from Groundhog Day, I have to admit I was running out of words to explain the new feeling. It has gone past the blah stage to zombie stage.

We already felt like we lost control of our lives last year, we got a grace period, then back down the spiralling inferno.

The famous psychologist, Adam Grant, call this feeling ‘languishing’. It was pronounced the most dominant emotion of 2021 by the New York times. I quote: ‘the middle child of mental heal that dull motivation and focus’.

Well congrats on the award, I want none of it. At least as long as I can help. I call it a period of super funk. And maybe we will go through a few of those as charter through unprecedented times.
