I have left 12 jobs during my previous career. In the world of job hoppers, I am a veteran. Yet I do not take pride in it because my exit message was always the same:

“I do not want your society’s definition of success. I do not want a mortgage, a nice car or any other fancy gadgets that is tethering my soul. I will get married and have kids when I have discovered what I value. Face it, might even be in my forties but who cares. Your standards do not define me.”

But i kept going back to what chained me.

Took me 10 years and twelve jobs to really abide by my own message. And it was definitely helped by the pandemic. What should truly measure success is getting more and more defined as a never-ending mutating virus keep testing our humanity.

Free time

Who has free time nowadays? Truly successful people. Success is subjective and depends on what an individual values in life. But I can bet, having time constraints to do what one wants is everyone’s dream.

How many times have you checked up on someone and the answer was: ‘oh sorry busy this, busy…
