Why You Should Quit Your Miserable Job Now

Do not delay your dreams until it is too late

It is one thing to vent about the daily grind, no job is perfect, and you will be dissatisfied at some point

It is another thing to hate your job and only staying to pay the bills or other commitments.

People who leave behind a miserable job without another one lined up are considered reckless or disloyal.

I love people who have the courage to say I quit because I am wasting my energy and I could put it to better use.

Some very decent advice I have heard about quitting a job:

  • Have an emergency stockpile of at least one year’s salary
  • Have a plan before you quit of what you want to do after

Very commendable thoughts if you ask me.

My problem with number one, from my experience, is that it is never going to be one year.

In one year, you get a raise and start living slightly more lavishly. In one year, you forget the promise you made to yourself. In one year, you get used to your comfort zone and your monthly cushy paycheck.
