Have you ever felt lazy even though you are working hard? Or you go to work and have good intentions, only to lose motivation halfway through?
Then the self-fulfilling prophecy begins. You think you are not competent, that you will not be as good as your driven and overexcited colleague.
I believe we live on one beautiful planet with different ecosystems. Not all of them drive us to thrive, in fact, some stunt our growth.

Tom is killing it, the only reason he does not make employee of the month every month is that it defeats the purpose of the concept.
Tom is good at his job, he loves his job. And he is cut out for it. Tom makes us feel like we will never make it.
I was there too. I am fairly smart and confident but I always felt out of place at work. I always thought people were so brilliant and I would never be able to reach that level, however hard I try.
